What is a Vocational Assessment?
A Vocational Assessment provides objective findings as to how an injury affects a person’s ability to work and earn money following personal injury. For example, low back, neck and psychological trauma can have a severe impact on an individual’s ability to return to their prior occupation or seek another type of work. A review of all of the relevant medical data, education records, and employment records, as well as a diagnostic interview, is utilized to determine transferable skills and reach an opinion as to the disabled person’s employability.
In addition, where applicable, Labor Market Surveys are utilized to determine access to the local labor market.
